Bugler Gold

In the 1800s, a company Bugler announced new shipments of tobacco. At the sound of the horn, workers descended upon the barges to process the fresh leaf. It was customary for the Bugler to have the first choice of the crop. This prime leaf became simply became known as Bugler's Gold.
