Carlo Scotti created the Castello pipe in 1947 in a small artisan workshop. His aim was to produce a pipe which was technically and aesthetically at the absolute summit of quality. This quality means working exclusively with the best briar available, at the right moment, not before or after. It means knowing how to work with respect for precise parameters of function, aesthetics and good taste. It means choosing only shops with the highest professional reputation once the briar has been transformed into a pipe. An Italian classic.

The name Castello means "castle" and is in honor of the castle that shadows this factory in Cantu Italy.
